P.F. Update

Ahhhh so I here I sit. After finishing my homework (for tonight)and prepping for a class I am teaching tomorrow night. I sit and I sit and I sit! I am so tired of sitting but it seems the more I sit the harder it is to hold on the dream of getting going again.

My foot is having crazy symptoms and I can't figure out if I am close to healing or not?

I ran in the pool on a treadmill at PT. I was suppose to run 10 minutes but I nicely asked if I could run just 5 more and they said YES! I felt so much better that I didn't even care that I was running in my bathing suit! :)

I have also been wearing a boot to bed the last week. I am close to 4 weeks of rest.
I do have a little knot in the sole part of my heel but it seems to come and go. PT thinks it may be tense tissue but could be bone spur? He doubts that is what it is but I think he just throwing anything out there. I do know that I didn't start this REST journey with that knot. So ice, rest, roll and running in pool.

I am at the point of wondering if I should get an XRAY?? I really want to avoid that cost but maybe it would give us some answers. EUGENE is still there...so I am feeling a little stuck. Who knows?

Tomorrow I will go with my hubby to his first radiation appointment. It will take longer than normal and feels a little scary but we know it is something that has to be done. Tomorrow is the first day of a 6 1/2 journey of driving an hour plus there and back each day for treatment. So please keep praying!!

Hope everyone had a great weekend full of miles, smiles and family!!

Rotten foot! I am so sorry it is still bugging you and I hope and pray it gets all healed up SOON. Hang in there. It sounds like you are doing all that you can.

I I hope that all goes well with radiation. It IS scary, but it will be ok. You and your family are in my prayers. Hugs!

I am new to your blog (found it by hearing about your Endorphin Warrior giveaway), but I just wanted to say hi and let you know that a complete stranger (I guess technically I'm not a stranger now that I said hi haha) is praying for your hubby and your foot! I look forward to reading more of your blog :) Take care!

Praying for your heel and your journey. You just keep reaching down inside for more strength. He'll keep putting it there for you.

You’re definitely on your way to healing girl! Just hang in there and stay positive, although I know it's hard since no running just sucks! I'm praying for you guys and for more clear scans and good treatment!!

I had PF after my first marathon. It was awful, but with rest it eventually did go away. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to heal quickly so keep it up. :-)
