BOSTON

OK so I am getting the fever! So many bloggy buddies getting ready for Marathon Monday in Boston!! I can't imagine the excitement and work that it took to get to that START LINE! (OK I can kind of imagine it....that is why I am distracted)

I have been absent from bloggy world with work, kiddos, life and training I have had a hard time finding a minute.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my first 20 miles from last weekend. 20 miles= 2:58:25 It was a solo run and it went well! Having a little bit of tummy issues but hoping to work it out.

I am gearing up to run my second 20 tomorrow!! The weather and wind is ick so I am trying to stay positive and hopeful. This one is going to be MENTAL!

Less than a month away from MARATHON 2!! I feel strong and know that I have grown and improved as a runner over the past 3 months. So even though I have symptoms of Boston Fever I am trying to remind myself that it is about the journey, the experience, the trials/celebrations that make me a MARATHONER...not a certain time.

So I will continue to keep my head up in the clouds and dream and see where my heart and feet take me!!

GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS to all the Boston runners!! Have a wonderful LONG run!! P.S. Special shout out to my COACH Tall Mom who will be making her first appearance!!

(in case you are wondering....the road to Boston is NOT EASY) Be sure to check back Monday for my PEEK A BOOTIQUE BOSTON giveaway!!

Something tells me you have Boston in your future too!

The standards are the new ones--you (and everyone else) still have another 5 minutes beyond those until 2013 edition.

Great job on the run! So excited for your marathon next month.

Stomach issues? What kind? I had some when I started getting into the higher miles and it was not good on marathon day? It was the fuel that was making me sick.

Maybe we can chat more about it. I have only talked to one person that has had the same issue as me. NO FUN!
