Mustard

I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there and it will move.  Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20

Amanda at Fat Wuz Here sent this to me as reminder of God's great power and faithfullness. (love the tiny mustard seeds)
Thank you so much!! A bottle of hope on a very tough journey!

My mind and heart is on Sherry a fellow runner that is missing and a sweet little 2 year old girl who is facing chemo. Whatever God's plan is I pray for peace, hope and comfort.

Stay safe, embrace those around you and Keep On Keeping On.

what a great gift. You are inspiration to us all Harm. I can't imagine how your life has changed. It is so hard for me to understand sometimes, but I do know we can find strength in the hardest things. My very good friend lost her husband to cancer 5yrs ago. He was 28yrs old and they had a 1yr old son. I couldn't get over it and had such a hard time understanding it. She told me that in the moment when he passed, she had never felt closer to the Lord....even in all her sadness. The way she grew during those perilous months changed her from the inside out. I guess I have to trust that the Lord gives us challenges to shape us and mold us and perfect us to become more like him. it can be a rough road to get there, but I am POSITIVE that the reward at the end of this life will be more than worth it. I love you. thinking of you. you are so special.

I'm still thinking of Sherry, too... thanks for the reminder that it only takes a little bit of faith. It's definitely made me appreciate my family more when I think about how quickly one's life can change!

Runners shouldn't go missing and little girls shouldn't have to go through chemo. Period.

Nothing is impossible with God.
God doesn't bring the peril, He brings the Victory.
" The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." -Jesus (John 10:10)
Jesus is an exact representation of God and He healed all who came to Him. Jesus is alive and all things are possible to him who believes in Him. (ref:Mark 9:23)

Harmony your hope and faith are in Him and He will perform what you believe Him for :)

Matthew 7:7-11 NASB
"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

It was such a good exercise for me to hold an actual mustard seed in my hand. Sometimes I feel like to receive his power I have to do big things and be so perfect, but no! I don't have to be the mountain to move the mountain. I just have to hang on, even if it's by the tip of my fingers and know that I can still make it. Love ya lady.

What a thoughtful token. Your attitude is awe-inspiring Harm. You lift others up despite having some very real circumstances of your own. So blessed to call you my friend.
