Day at the office

First of thanks for the sweet responses. Many of you thought I was having an off day but it was a good day...just thinking out loud.
I do blog for myself BUT want to impact others, so it is a fine line. Still considering a treadmill so if yoy have suggestions send them my way.

Here is a snapshot of me in my mobile office AKA swagger wagon. I have been rolling all day and won't park this baby until dark. A meeting earlier confirmed another new job. Going to be teaching an evening course at local community college. Score!

Then it was hurry up and wait to pick up One and Only...say hi to sweet L as she is off to gym with my amazing friend. Do a quick wardrobe change and now ready to coach bball.

One and Only is doing math homework, Sweet J is being sweet and I am blogging. Gotta love work on the go.

Today was my rest day and we were hit with more snow. HILLS tomorrow!

P.S. One final confession. I do not understand the running skirt thing?
I have never ran in one and can't imagine it would be pretty. Skirt lovers...help me undetstand.

Here is the one I just got and I am LOVING it (as much as you can love a treadmill I guess).
http://www.nordictrack.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView

I did 19 miles on it on Sunday and it worked perfectly.
It is on sale and has free shipping (and I had a code for another $100 off but I think that expired).

And THANK YOU for saying you don't get the running skirts. I don't even really like wearing skirts in "real life"... I can't imagine putting on one for sports. AND in my races I have seen way too many scary backsides with the running skirts swishing to and fro. NO THANKS. :)

Love the picture! I mentioned today in my comments on my post that I don't get the running skirt thing either. Not for me I'd say. I never did get it. :) Glad I'm not alone. Oh, I can't wait to try out my new mascara!!

love the pixcture

I dont do skirt. I tried some in the store. does feel or look right to me. I am way too tall for the size I need and then the skirt is waaaayyyy too short.!!! So I stay with shorts!

Congrats on the teaching job!

I like to run in skirts because they tend to have more storage pockets than shorts. I can carry more gels or chomps.

I laughed at your skirt comment because I have thought the same thing for a long time.

I have never run in one, but I also don't wear skirts "normally".

I really like my shorts so I don't have a reason to break from them.

I LOVE running skirts!! They are cute and comfortable and have lots of pockets...they are awesome! :0)

Super cute pic! Congrats on the teaching gig, that's great!

I don't really get the running skirt thing either. I wouldn't wear one myself. But, if they make women happy and feel great running, then I think they're great!

Have fun rockin' the hills tomorrow!

You amaze me at all you fit into your days! Incredible. Hope snow doesn't spoil your uphill climb tomorrow. :) I'll be running too... w/ no resistance!

Great on the college class and exciting that you'll be getting a new treadmill. I think it's even more incentive for hubby to continue running too... let him get it for you!

fancy office, we have as moms, don't we? Honestly, I've only 'raced' in skirts every once in a while for races I want to 'dress up' for and wear fun socks but after seeing pics from this weekends race, I'm pretty sure I won't be doing it very often. ;) They are comfortable though.

I love running skirts, on everyone else, lol. I have a black one I'm trying to get used to, it's comfy, but I feel it looks funny on me. I'm no help.

Love your rolling office! Congrats on the new course.

I like the skirts, but I'm also a shorts wearer 90% of the time. To each his own, right?

Sounds like a pretty good day!

I wouldn't say I'm a skirt lover, but I do own a few and wear them because I think they're fun and flattering... but I only wear the ones with spandex shorts built in or I would get brutal chub-rub!

I wear my skirt over my spandex because it makes me feel more feminine and add an extra layer of coverage.. Plus there are fun colors and pockets..

We have a ProForm treadmill we bought on their website and I really like it. You can always go to Sports Authority and test some.. but DONT buy the floor model who knows how many miles are on it.

Hey, to answer your question the treadmill I got is the NordicTrack T9 ci Treadmill. I got it on the Nordictrack website for $799 plus free shipping. there was a $100 off coupon too but that expired. Hope that helps!

Have you a video camera? Wear a running skort, and have your one-and-only video you from all angles. Then decide!

Just wanted to tell you I read your blog and I really enjoy it :)

Although I have not been brave enough to wear the skirt thing running, I get it-one word-thighs. Having juicy thighs that rub together that Pacman your shorts makes me appreciate the skirt thing. My thighs rub together so I don't wear those cool shorts in fashion now. I wear capris or pants. :-)
