Let it begin...

Yesterday my training plan called for six miles. Not a fan of falling on the ice so I found myself on the mill again. Sock felt wet half way through but of course I just kept running. 54:36 later I was done. This is what I discovered when I took off my sock.

I am afraid my second toe nail may be close to coming off....still healing from Portland Marathon?? Not sure what to do. Today is my rest day so looking forward to staying HOME for a bit and having bball with my boy later.

Just to clarify and follow up on my 7 random things post. You would all be proud of me. It is 8:45 and I am letting Sweet J stay in her jammies. Not sure how long I will last? Also I am a cotton ball fan...BUT I can't use them to take off polish or watch someone taking off polish. The sound...you know the squeaking is like nails on a chalkboard. Random I know!

I am very happy and encouraged that 10 peeps expressed interest in THIRSTY THURSDAY!! Hoping to start next week! I'll keep ya posted! Also happy that I didn't lose any followers by sharing my heart!! Thanks for your patience and I work through growing pains!

What are you looking forward to today?

P.S. Experimenting using my phone to post...so not sure how this works.

My big toe nail is black and I'm just waiting for it to finally fall off.

Sorry about the toe nail. I don't know how I've made it this long without toe nail issues.

Enjoy your rest day!

I still have 2 toenails that I swear will fall off soon...just waiting for the most embarrassing time I'm sure!
I am back from what I was looking forward to today--kindergarten gym helper--today was floor hockey--so fun!

Ouch - hopefully it doesn't feel too bad. I have a toenail still messed up from October too.

Toenails don't bother me anymore. What I count varies from month to month: How many are left? How many are gone? How many are growing in - still!
Enjoy your rest day.

I lost my 1st toenail after my first marathon. It still has not grown back entirely. Praying for healing.

GOOD JOB!! Ouch on the toe.. Maybe try using some body glide on it for a while.

so I saw your comment on Jill's page.. What kind of pep-talk do you need lady?

I warded off toenail problems through all of my last marathon...I did it by getting regular pedicures. They cut your toenails better, the polish keeps the nail from rubbing and keeps the nail coated for when you sweat! I have never lost a nail or even had one turn black!

You need like 7 more to fall off to catch up with me!

I hope you heal it up today and tell E good luck with bball tonight. Will you be at the WSU game?

I have some catching up to do on here! Ouch about the feet. :( Off to catch up on here and put you on my blog roll so I don't miss any more of your great posts. NOt sure why you are not on there...this blog roll thing confuses me.

Oh no, more toe posts!!! Proud of you for letting J stay in her pj's, she probably thinks you're sick or something. Kaley has been begging for some BFF time so let's get something figured out before you go!

:( On your feet. I posted one similar to that one last week. I lost a toenail (the same one I always loose) but I was lucky enough to not have all that blood. Hope your feet start feeling better.
