GLOW RUN pics!

After Glow!

Not sure why I am standing like a total nerd?

Come on now...doesn't she look like a runner?

Race Organizer...always smiling!

GLOW RUN...2010! Well it was a small gathering (15 people) but still so much fun. The rain stopped just in time and it was a comfortable 40 degrees! I was so happy to see my crafty friend Angela there! We ran together and it was great! We chatted, laughed and glowed through the streets of downtown. This was her second 5K and we ran the whole thing. So proud of her! Of course I am secretly hoping she is catching the running bug!! My friend Quads was there along with Blonde Pony as well! I wore my bling earings, bright green Seattle Rock N Roll shirt, and had glow sticks hanging everywhere. Lovely L let me use her book light, so I stuck it on my necklace and we were ready to go! Hope your World Run Day was great!

P.S. Got in 7.5 miles today on the treadmill. It was 36 degrees and sunny but I just wasn't feeling up to the cold. I ran 6.5 and then did some light lifting and then finished with one more mile! Felt good!

Looks like fun! Someday I hope to get back into running, but don't see that in my near future! If my hips ever cooperate I'll be running again though!
