Christmas Beauty

Merry Christmas. So thankful that today we could celebrate God's gift of life.

This post is about beauty.

Not the kind of beauty we see on posters or magazine but instead LASTING beauty that penetrates your heart. The kind of beauty you want to wrap up and open each day.

Today I tried to soak up every moment with my hubby as we watch our children's excitement and surprise. I do not assume that we will have another Christmas. Each day is truly a gift.

As a parent I know the deep mama bear love I feel for my children. When I think about Christmas and the Creator of the world I am at a loss at how much God loves each of us...so much that He gave his only Son to die for Me and you....so that we would have the opportunity to have eternal life and know Him.  I know I don't possess that kind of love but I am forever grateful.

Jingle Bells

Hoping as the hustle and bustle settles you are able to enjoy the beauty all around you each day. I know "training plans" and "goals" will be circulating soon but it is nice to remember why we are here and why we do what we do.

Today I feel blessed for the kitchen hugs from my hubby and laughter and joy of my children.
