Rock N Roll
Friday I woke up bright and early and left my snoozing family and got on the road! Another week heading to the West side of the state....we really need to beef up the race schedule in Eastern Washington. Just sayin'! I was excited to see my dear friend Katie (4X RNR companion and cheerleader)and attend the Brooks/Online Shoes Girls Night Out Event! I was pumped to be included and as you can see...all the girls were like kids in a candy shop. Brooks and Online Shoes put on a great event! Yummy food, fun presentation and knowledgable staff to answer our questions. I really appreciated that Brooks has a line of shoes that meets every runners needs. Not just minimalistic or traditional but instead acknowledging that everyone is different. Not trendy or following the crowd but just simply RUNNING HAPPY!
Sporting my Brooks T-shirt that I ran the race in last year...and holding not ONE but TWO pairs of new Brooks! Reveal and Review Coming soon but until then go check Online Shoes and Brooks.
The expo was fun..as I got to hang out with this fun crew!
At the expo I saw this and had to take a pic...13.1 Reasons why cancer won't kill me...and then a list of scripture. This may have to be it's own post on another day!
Poster from Online Shoes Girls night...I got a rocking shirt to match!
It was a full day and evening! I learned tons about Brooks and got to see and meet some great bloggy friends! The next step was waking up the next day and running 13.1 miles...recap and pics coming soon!
Where do you get your shoes?

Glad you had a great weekend! The 13.1 reasons cancer won't kill me poster is awesome!! As you know I just got Mizuno Wave Riders and I am enjoying them :) I have been interested in some of the Brooks Pure Project shoes though hopefully, you will be reveiwing them.
I will...I am really excited. Hoping to test them out tomorrow.
Love the poster. :) Love Brooks! I just got my purple pure flows to race in next week. xoxo
What a great poster!!! Looks like so much fun!! I get my running shoes from the same running store I have been for like 7 years...yeah I have issues with change!!
I am due for a new pair of running shoes. I usually get asics from Nordstrom but have no real preference for brand. I have been meaning to stop by Road Runner to test what shoes I should be wearing. Brooks always look so cool! Might have to try a pair :)
I just got out of a pair of Brooks and now into a pair of Mizuno Wave Riders. I get my shoes from RoadRunnersports.com...cheapest with free ship!!
I love Brooks and would never wear anything else. I have worn them since 2002 and I think they rock. I do agree that Eastern Washington needs to get some better races!
