Dip da Dip

Wow, it seems to be so difficult to find time to work out let alone to blog. Last week I was swamped with work and just taking a breath from an intense end of the semester. The sun sun has been shining a lot lately and that has been great. I am cruising the town with my kids bikes, water bottles, sunscreen and my running gear just trying to be prepared. I have been able to squeeze in some short runs while my kids ride bikes and I run the loop. I love when the ride by and give me the thumbs up or peddle faster to "catch me". Here are a few pics doing DIPS together after my run. Lovely L is a gymnast so she is no stranger to tricep dips. I also have been sporting my Rev3 Zody hat that she gave me to inspire me for my OWN Rev3 hat I hope to earn in July!! My foot is still giving me some problems and I am sure the neuroma is back in full force. I am just trying to manage the pain and have a doc appt next week. So this has greatly effected my training or lack of training but I am HOPEFUL that I will be able to add in a few more runs soon. I just need TIME! Seattle Rock N Roll is just over 6 weeks away and my FIRST Olympic Tri is 53 days away! My pool and bike time has been horrible. I am trying not to panic as I can only do what I can do. Working everyday and grad school seems all I can squeeze in at times. But I am going to give it the old college try and hit it hard the next month and half and see how I can get creative to make this all work. My goal is really to P.R. in FUN, so we shall see! Today is day 2 of two grad classes I am taking this summer. I am still trying to figure out what the heck is going on and get my first assignments completed. Help me Rhonda!! Please be patient with my posts...and wait for me! I promise I will be reading and trying to get quick workout posts up as much as possible. I am really looking forward to the day when I can look back and say that I perservered and did not quit. When you are faced with losing your husband and having to provide for your family solo things like "school" tend to increase in urgency. I know God will provide and sustain us as He always does but I do feel that He has given me gifts and talents and this is one way I can be better prepared to use them to serve Him and others! The next six weeks will be all about balance and being kind to myself. Also just want to end with a shout out to my bloggy friends who have blessed my life by walking through my life journey and stressful time with my family. It really does mean so much! What have you been training for? Have you ever raced without training? How have you been blessed by other bloggers?

Don't remind me of Seattle! I am not sure if I can run it now. I need to get healthy first- baby steps aren't fun. Sorry that your foot is bothering you again. I hope that you can find some relief. I will be sending positive vibes your way. Enjoy the sunshine- I know that I am. :-)

Hang in there sister!! Don't worry about blogging, we all understand! I don't have much time to blog since I'm chasing my 14 month old and helping my husband run our business. I will be praying that God gives you wisdom to work efficiently to get everything you need to get done :)

Girl, you are inspiring! I hope you can get into a good routine and that school goes smooth for you!
I barely blog. I just don't make it a priority! I do love it when you post, though! (even though I barely get on blogger to post a comment)
I pray you get exactly what you need from God, when you need it. He is your source of Strength. Couldn't imagine my life without Him! Love you, Friend!
