Thirsty Thursday - I'm Not Who I Was

Sorry for the LATE post! It has been an emotional week for me in many ways! Lots of prayers and trusting God each step of the way.

I love this song a great!! Brandon Heath is great!

Stepping out, trusting God, leaving my comfort zone, seeking His face...

I'm Not Who I Was

and that is a good thing!

Excited to share some goodies I received in the mail...I heart my bloggy friends.
Have a great night!

LENT calendar Update
Totally failed my water only day. Turmoil & tears led to migraine...which led to caffiene.
I may try it another day.

Tomorrow is day 11. Just in case you are following along.
DAY 11 Journal about how giving something up for lent has allowed you to depend on God.

DAY 12 Watch the sunrise or sunset (6:20 a.m or 5:40 p.m.)

DAY 13 Read Jonah 1: 4-17 and then spend and hour doing something you enjoy.

DAY 14 Read an article in the paper and then pray for God to bring peace or awakening to
that situation.

DAY 15 Have a conversation with a family member in which you share about one of the most
difficult times in your life.

DAY 16 Spend at least 30 minutes with someone under the age of 5 or over age 70

DAY 17 Fast from food during daylight hours

I'm sorry you've had an emotional week. I really love all of these! Such wonderful things to do for spiritual growth! I must try these!! I din't know about the sunrise but sunset I could do if I was in another state where the sun was shining...no luck here in Portland..rain, grey, rain. but I can watch it get darker. :) xo

Lady you are doing great and juggling a lot. Just pick yourself right back up and keep on going. Breathe tomorrow and allow yourself a day of relax, relax, relax. It'll all still be there on Monday.

Well, I just read Jonah 1 and I can honestly say that anything seems enjoyable compared to being in the belly of a large fish! :)
