So it is only Wednesday but I am thrilled that I have not missed a day of working out. Monday I ran 4 miles outside in the wind. Tuesday I did my 7 X 400, speed work. I am not exactly sure if I did it right?? I ran at a 8:00 min. pace for 400 and then jogged 400 and repeated that 7 times. Does that look right? I wasn't sure if I need to change the speed? Today I ran 2.5 (suppose to run 3, but I'm ok with that) and had a good hour of strength training with one of my SNAP buddies. On my way home I stopped by my friend Sarah's house, AKA 100K van driver/amazing friend and she had just got P90X. I was intrigued so she put some of the DVD's in. I did some of the abs and pull ups and push ups. That is some tough stuff and even harder in jeans. So I know P90X is the new fad but I was curious how many of you are doing it? My concern is I have limited time and how would I fit my running in?? You do know Running is my first love! I will probably just pop in and do some random work outs to support Sarah and stick to the gym, treadmill and the open road...but we'll see.
So what do you do for the days you strength train? Tomorrow is suppose to be a rest day and then light run Friday before LONG run on Sunday. Hope to stay on track.
